Stefani Milan is a New Jersey based author who loves to entertain and bring joy to others through her writing. She most enjoys creating worlds that readers will get lost in and characters they will love. Stefani is a graduate of Rutgers University-Camden, where she received a degree in English.

Stefani’s first book is a mystery thriller set in 1926 London and the mist-filled Scottish Highlands. The novel, called The Secret of Kolney Hatch, has been well-received with many great reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, and Barnes and Noble. The sequel, Kolney Hatch: Buried Secrets is now available!

As a young girl, Stefani wanted to be many things when she grew up. An archaeologist, a teacher, a painter, a singer, and an actress are just a few of the occupations Stefani desired to be. She often writes music, paints and draws when she can, and acts in various indie films and conducts artist interviews. She lives out her inner archaeologist through her writing (particularly in her new series).

As far as teacher, Stefani has always loved to guide children and help them learn. So, Stefani and her sister-in-law (an elementary school teacher) developed a set of teaching books for the 2nd grade level. The Land of the Past, Teaching Past Tense, Book One-Doubling the Last Consonant, is the first book of a three part series that creatively teaches the more challenging rules of the past tense. Classrooms that have used this book reported their students responded well to it and even enjoyed learning. Find out more about that book on her homepage.

I Liked You Better When You Were Outside is Stefani’s first children’s book, created out of the calling to help homeless animals. After participating in a trap and release program, she helped neuter and spay thirteen abandoned stray and free-roaming cats. She then decided to foster them and after socializing them, is now looking to place them in forever homes. A portion of the proceeds of each copy of I Liked You Much Better When You Were Outside goes to caring for these cats and in the future, she hopes to donate necessities to other animals in need.

Stefani loves to travel, loves adventure, enjoys acting and singing, and loves to study metaphysics.
